“ Legal tender is a quaint little food pub perfect for that pre-road trip/post-campout Bloody Mary! We stopped on our way back from cokeville and will probably stop again in the future! Zack and Johny helped us get nice and cozy at the bar (we decided to move for a little more ambiance) where we had a lovely conversation over nachos, beer, and some freshly fried tater tots. Johny was happy to talk local eats and places worth checking out, but mostly left us be to enjoy our food and the company we came with. He was quick to get our drinks filled almost before we set down our own empty glass (talk about being taken care of!). Service was top tier, and for 11AM on a Wednesday, we were beyond pleased with the experience. The ambience is a little Vegas “off the strip” bar meets Hawaiian tiki lounge, but in a good way. We snagged a few scratchers and some lotto tickets before we packed up and headed out, very full and happy with our experience. I’d recommend the fried white fish fillets, the perfect snack if you’re in the mood for some quality comfort food. ”
“ Chicken fried steak with perfect eggs were cooked as the way I ordered them The hash browns were perfectly Krispy and my pancakes were light fluffy and you'd think they were made from scratch. I would advise ordering small of the portion sizes are adequate for the hungriest of men. ”
“ Stopped here for the first time today and had lunch. Very clean and welcoming with fantastic food. The prices were very good and the service was both friendly and fast. Johnny was behind the bar and is one of the most pleasant bartenders I’ve ever met. Highly recommend! ”
